Mountainview Lodge can get you set up for an awesome paddling adventure! We are located along the beautiful Goulais River on Hwy 556 and only 30 minutes from Sault Ste. Marie, Canadian/Michigan International border – via Hwy 17 North.

The lodge offers six cozy rooms to choose from. Rooms one, two and three have one queen-size bed, rooms four and five have a queen-size bed and pull out futon couch, and room six has a queen-size bed, a pull-out futon couch and a single bunk on top. The Little Red Caboose is perfect for those travelling with little ones, and The Chalet is ideal for larger families or groups. All rooms include a 4-piece bath, wood and/or electric baseboard heaters, satellite television and a DVD player.

We currently have four, sixteen foot canoes and 2 fishing kayaks available to rent. We encourage our guests to take a trip down the Goulais River where you can sit back, relax, fish and enjoy the awesome scenery at your side. With only a short drive up the road to launch, it could take anywhere from three to eight hours to get back to our lodges loading ramp.
