Campgrounds & RV Parks

Pack up your gear and get ready to take in the natural wonders of Algoma! Spend spring, summer and fall exploring the outdoors in campgrounds and RV Parks.

Algoma’s unique location offers a variety of private, municipal, provincial and national campgrounds. There are also Good Sam and KOA parks.

From RV and tent parks to the backcountry experience in provincial parks, the region’s parks offer a full range of amenities and facilities. For campers who wish to stay in a cozy cabin instead, there are cottage resort properties in the entire region.

Any campground you choose has a variety of settings set against the background of Northern Ontario wilderness. Many campgrounds have on-site activities that friends or family will enjoy. Like amazing water experiences for canoeing, kayaking or stand-up paddling. The Great Lakes coastlines, warm inland lakes and rivers, golden stretches of sandy beaches. How about nature walks and challenging hikes that lead to the most breathtaking views? Some of our favourite activities are fishing, dark sky adventures, sitting around the campfire and listening to loon calls.

On-site amenities at campgrounds and RV parks may include laundromats, park stores, and playgrounds, some have in-ground pools, boat launches/access, and WiFi. Besides tent sites and RV sites, you can also find yurts and camping bunkies. Look for sites with or without electrical and shower facilities. Depending on location, some campgrounds are near great food and drink options, and area attractions and festivals.
