Campbell Woods

AlgomaTrad continues its winter/spring concert series at the AlgomaTrad Centre, 1249 F&G Line, St. Joseph Island, by featuring Campbell Woods, Saturday, April 11th at 7:30 pm.

Campbell Woods is a singer-songwriter from Smith’s Falls, Ontario. As an emerging artist, Campbell has performed at Festival of Small Halls, Blue Skies Music Festival, Vancouver Island Live from the Rock, and Ness Creek music festivals, as well as the Ottawa and Halifax Urban Folk Festival. He has shared the stage with Kathleen Edwards and Lynn Miles. Writing songs rooted in the tradition of Townes Van Zandt, his style is tried and true. They are his stories and his songs, but an evening with Campbell Woods is an invitation to be reminded of your stories, our stories, and how they all echo around the room when truth is told.

Concert tickets are: $28.25 General Admission, $25 Seniors, $20 Students, 12 & under free (all prices include HST). Pay What You Can (PWYC) at the door – This is a subsidized ticket price to make our concerts accessible and inclusive. You can make a contribution at the door the evening of the concerts.

Campbell Woods est un auteur-compositeur-interprète originaire de Smith’s Falls, en Ontario. Artiste émergent, il s’est produit au Festival of Small Halls, au Blue Skies Music Festival, au Vancouver Island Live from the Rock et au festival de musique de Ness Creek, ainsi qu’aux festivals de folk urbain d’Ottawa et d’Halifax. Il a partagé la scène avec Kathleen Edwards et Lynn Miles. Ses chansons, ancrées dans la tradition de Townes Van Zandt, offrent un style éprouvé et authentique. Ce sont ses histoires, ses chansons, mais une soirée avec Campbell Woods est une invitation à se remémorer nos propres histoires, nos histoires, et comment elles résonnent en nous lorsque la vérité est dite.

Les billets de concert sont à 28,25 $ (admission générale), 25 $ (aînés), 20 $ (étudiants) et gratuits pour les enfants de 12 ans et moins (tous les prix incluent la TVH). Prix libre à l’entrée : ce tarif réduit permet de rendre nos concerts accessibles à tous. Vous pouvez faire un don à l’entrée le soir du concert.
