Soo Market, Sault Ste. Marie

Algoma Farmers’ Market, Sault Ste. Marie

The Algoma Farmers’ Market has been in business since 1901! The Algoma Farmers’ Market has a summer location at the Roberta Bondar Pavilion, 70 Foster Drive and is open Wednesdays from 8 am to 1 pm starting in July and Saturdays from 12 noon to 5 pm from June to Thanksgiving. The market offers 100% Algoma products from Farm Vendors, Prepared Food Vendors, Artisan and Craft Vendors, and hosts Community, Charitable and Non-Profit groups and Musicians. Hilton Beach Farmer’s Market, St. Joseph Island

The Hilton Beach Farmers’ Market is located on the waterfront marina in Hilton Beach, St. Joseph Island. It is open from mid-June to the end of September on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm. Bring your bag to this market as it is appreciated to help with the environment. Enjoy the view of the marina while you shop for fresh island mushrooms, bread, baking and beautiful artisan crafts. Johnson Farmers’ Market, Desbarats

The Johnson Farmers’ Market is located at 1 Cameron Avenue, Desbarats, Ontario. The market is situated on the grounds of the Johnson Township Community Centre. The summer hours are from June to Thanksgiving, from 9 am to 2 pm. Fall hours begin in September from 10 am to 2 pm. This market sells produce, products and baking from local farmers in the area and the Mennonite Community. You will enjoy shopping and the sight of horses and buggies tied up behind the pavilion. Desbarats Country Produce, Desbarats

Desbarats Country Produce is a market located at 4378 Government Road in Desbarats. This market is a country co-op operated by the Mennonite Community. The hours are from June to Thanksgiving, Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 5:30 pm and closed on Sundays. The market products are naturally grown and GMO-free. Local products include vegetables, fruit, preserves and meat. Wood products such as bat- and birdhouses are available, and wood drying racks for clothes. Handmade leather belts are also available for purchase.
